Taco Burger with Chipotle Mayo

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Johnsonville Stadium Deluxe White Hamburger Buns, baked by Aunt Millie's
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ c. salsa
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ package of taco seasoning mix
  • ⅓ c. mayonnaise
  • 1 chipotle in adobo (from can)
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • Red Onion
  • Tomato
  • Cilantro

Yield: 4 Sandwiches

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill or medium pan over medium heat.
  2. Gently combine ground beef, salsa, egg, and taco seasoning and shape into 4 patties.
  3. Grill patties for 6 – 8 minutes on each side, adding cheese after the first flip. Thermometer should register 165 degrees.
  4. Meanwhile, pulse mayonnaise and chipotle in mini processor until smooth.
  5. Remove burgers from grill and place on hamburger buns. Top with desired amount of chipotle mayonnaise, onion, tomato and cilantro.
