Recipe for Grilled Jalapeno Pico Burger
Grilled Jalapeno Pico Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Aunt Millie's Hearth Reduced-Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Buns
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 jalapenos, sliced
  • 1 c. pico

Yield: 4 Sandwiches

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill or saute pan over medium heat.
  2. Gently combine first five ingredients (excluding buns) and shape into 4 patties.
  3. Cook patties over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes per side until desired degree of doneness, topping with cheese the last few minutes of cooking.
  4. In a separate pan, cook jalapenos over medium-high heat until soft and slightly charred.
  5. Place burgers on buns and top with grilled jalapenos, and pico.
  6. Serve immediately.
