Recipe for Bahn-Mi Burgers
Banh-Mi Burger
Aunt Millie's Stadium Potato Hamburger Buns

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Johnsonville Stadium Golden Potato Hamburger Buns, baked by Aunt Millie's
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 ½ tsp. curry powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • ¼ c. rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • ½ c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Tabasco
  • 2 tsp. tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Pickled jalapenos
  • Fresh cilantro

Yield: 4 servings

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, Tabasco, tomato paste, and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Place carrots in a small bowl, and combine with vinegar and sugar. Set aside.
  4. Gently combine ground beef, curry powder, salt, and pepper and shape into 4 patties.
  5. Grill patties for 6-8 minutes on each side. Thermometer should register 165°.
  6. Remove patties from the grill and place on a bun. Top with desired amount of Tabasco mayonnaise, pickled carrots, pickled jalapenos, and cilantro.
