Ingredients:
- 1 package Aunt Millie's Deli Kaiser rolls, torn into about 1" pieces
- 2 c. milk
- ¼ c. minced parsley, divided
- ¼ c. flour
- ½ tsp. grated nutmeg
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- ½ small yellow onion, grated
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- Roasted gravy of your choice
Yield: 4 servings
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread roll pieces onto baking sheet and bake about 10 minutes. Set aside.
- Combine milk, 2 Tbsp. parsley, flour, nutmeg, eggs, grated onion, salt and pepper. Pour over bread cubes, and mix until combined.
- Bring an 8-qt. saucepan of salted water to a boil over high heat. Moisten hands with water and gently form bread mixture into 2” balls, set aside. Working in batches, add balls to the boiling water and cook until firm, about 15 minutes. Drain on paper towel and transfer to a serving bowl.
- Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve in bowls with gravy of your choice.
