Pumpkin Caramel Pecan Baked French Toast
Aunt Millie’s Cinnamon  Swirl Bread


  • ½ loaf Aunt Millie's Cinnamon Swirl Bread, cut diagonally
  • ½ c. (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • ½ c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. half & half
  • 1 c. pumpkin puree

Yield: 8 servings


  1. Stir butter, brown sugar, and pecans together and spread into a greased 9” x 13” baking pan.
  2. Layer the bread slices over the top of the pecan mixture.
  3. Beat the pumpkin pie spice, eggs, half & half and pumpkin puree until mixed well. Pour the mixture over the bread.
  4. Cover and place the pan in the refrigerator a least one hour, or overnight.
  5. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and flip over onto serving tray.
