Recipe for Mixed Berry French Toast
Mixed Berry French Toast
Aunt Millie's Sourdough English Muffins 
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Aunt Millie’s Sourdough English Muffins
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ c. 2% milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 15-ounce package frozen mixed berries, defrosted
  • 1 c. honey, warmed
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Directions:

  1. Split each English Muffin in half.
  2. Mix together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in a shallow bowl. Add the English Muffin halves to soak for a 4-5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, place berries and sugar into a bowl and set aside.
  4. Cook each English muffin on a buttered griddle over medium heat until lightly browned on each side.
  5. Place one English muffin on a plate, and top with the berry mixture. Top with another English muffin.
  6. Top with some warm honey and whipped cream.
