Aunt Millie's Made in Michigan Campaign
October 08, 2010
Ask anyone in Michigan and they’ll tell you – things are a little tough.
We know we’ll come through okay because we’re all in this together.
For more than 40 years, Aunt Millie’s has been baking bread and baked goods right here in Michigan.
Aunt Millie’s is proud to be a part of the Michigan family, and we plan to be here for a long, long time.
Aunt Millie’s operates five bakeries in Michigan, baking bread, buns, rolls, English muffins, bagels and muffins in Jackson, Kalamazoo, Plymouth, and at two locations in Coldwater.
Billboards
To announce this, Aunt Millie’s will post this billboard at 45 locations in the Detroit area, for one month beginning Sept. 27, 2010.
We will also have two locations in Grand Rapids for one month, and one “superboard” with a vertical orientation in Detroit on I-75, facing south, from Sept. 27-Dec. 19.
A list of exact locations will be available Sept. 20.
Radio
Radio spots will air in Detroit as well, from Oct. 1-14. There are six versions of the spot, each tagged with a different employee thanking customers for buying Aunt Millie’s Bread. The attached version features company president John F. Popp.
A list of stations and air times will be available Sept. 20.
Newspaper FSI
A newspaper FSI with coupons will drop Oct. 10 in Detroit, Port Huron, Flint, Ann Arbor (mailed), Grand Rapids, Lansing, Bay City, Kalamazoo and Saginaw. An FSI reprint is attached.
Store displays
These display materials will be featured in Michigan stores beginning in late September.
