Maple French Toast
Ingredients:
- 3/4 c. 1% reduced-fat milk
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 12 slices Aunt Millie's Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread
- 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Yield: 6 Servings (2 pieces each serving)
Directions:
- Combine first 5 ingredients into a shallow dish.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and coat pan with cooking spray.
- Place bread slices in the milk mixture and quickly turn to coat both sides of the bread.
- Add bread slices to the pan, and cook until lightly browned. This may take 4-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over the toast and serve immediately.
